About Us
 

Moore & Percy have been providing professional valuation and property consultancy services to the Southern South Island for over 30 years. Predominantly covering Central Otago and the Queenstown Southern Lakes Districts, we also cover parts of Northern Southland, South Westland, East and North Otago. Moore & Percy has experience in all types of residential, rural, commercial and industrial properties and provide reports for a wide range of purposes to a broad cross section of clients.

Malcolm Moore
Dip.Ag, Dip VFM, VP Urban, SNZPI, MNZIPI, (Reg)

Malcolm is a Registered Valuer and Registered Primary Industry Consultant with over 35 years experience, particularly in the Central Otago and Queenstown Southern Lakes Districts and has a prolific knowledge of the area. 
Malcolm established Moore & Associates in 1977 which has now become Moore & Percy. Farm valuation and consultancy are a passion for Malcolm which is recognised by his loyal client base. Malcolm has been very active in a range of community activities throughout his working life in Central Otago, and he also enjoys his regular squash games and time on the golf course.

Sarah Mitchell
B.Comm VPM, PG Dip Comm, MNZPI

Sarah is a Registered Valuer and Member of the Property Institute and Institute of Valuers, with over 10 years of experience. Originally working in the Canterbury Province, she has now been working in the Central Otago Districts for the past 4 years.
Sarah has a Bachelor of Commerce in Valuation & Property Management and specialises in residential property, and also has Post Graduate Diplomas in Rural Valuation and E-Business. Following a stint abroad working in Corporate Banking and IT, Sarah has settled in Alexandra, enhancing our service to residential and lifestyle property owners in the district.

Hamish Goldfinch
B.Com, BSC, Grad Dip Val, Graduate Valuer

Hamish is a Graduate Valuer and Graduate Member of the Property Institute. With some 3 years experience in the IT industry in Auckland, he has had a change of focus and has now settled in Queenstown and joined Moore & Percy in their Queenstown Office. Hamish has strong analytical skills which he is applying in his research of residential and apartments in the Queenstown Lakes District.

Wanaka Office:

 

Ken Goldfinch
Dip. Farming, Dip. Bus. Studies, SNZPI, ANZIV, AREINZ, MNZIPIM

Ken is a Registered Valuer with SPINZ, MNZIPIM, and AREINZ status, and has broad experience as an agribusiness banker and registered valuer of 32 years. Ken began in Gisborne with the Valuation Department and then the Rural Bank, continuing on to Whangarei, Pukekohe, and Thames, and more recently with Rabobank in Pukekohe. He has recently joined Moore & Percy to open our Wanaka Office. Ken is an outdoors enthusiast, frequenting the slopes during winter on his snowboard.

Dianne Elliot, PA

Dianne joined Moore & Percy in October 2008. Originally from Canterbury, Dianne has lived in Alexandra for the past 30 years, and brings with her to the company, a wide range of office and administration experience.

Jaimie Dekoning

Jaimie started with the company in late 2008 as an office junior and is an integral part of the Administration team. Jaimie was bought up in the Central Otago area and enjoys the outdoor activities which Central has to offer including playing bowls and netball.
